L.A. Zine Week was the brainchild of….
All week long: International Zine Grab Bag Sale at Skylight Books
Skylight Books has always carried local zines, but on sale all week long are special selection of international culture and photography zines.
To add to the fun, all the international zines will be places into grab bags and marked down as much as 75%. This is your chance to scoop up a handful of zines for the price of one! Feed your need to read!
BONUS! Special to the store just for Zine Week are “I Read Zines” patches and stickers. Get yours for $1.50!
The zines are flying off the shelves from Feb. 5 – 11 at the Skylight Annex at 1814 N. Vermont Ave., just next door to Skylight Books.

All week long: Free Buttonmaking and Zine Sale at The Urban Craft Center
The Urban Craft Center is not just a well-stocked craft supply store–it’s also a place where you can go to take classes in bookbinding, papermaking or millinery; and make use of all the tools they have in their well-appointed studio space.
Usually, use of the studio isn’t free, but for the week of L.A. Zine Week, the Urban Craft Center is offering FREE studio time to use the 1″ and 2″ button maker. They are also offering a 15% discount on all zines in stock!
